1. Acknowledgment And Acceptance Of Privacy Policy
We protect the privacy of our users' personal information. You should read
this in conjunction with our

of which this Privacy Policy forms a part.
Use of the amiplaying.com Web site and associated services implies acceptance of
this Privacy Policy. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of this policy,
please do not continue to use the Web site and services. This policy may change
from time to time and you are deemed to have accepted the current version each
time you visit our site.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or if you wish to request
a copy of the personal data we hold about you, contact us
here. Please note that
by law we are entitled to charge you a small sum for providing this
information.
2. Emails From amiplaying.com
We will not send you unsolicited emails. However there are some emails that we will
need to send you to provide you with a good service. These include:
Group Members
- Event reminder emails if you don't sign up by the time specified by the group owner.
- Selection emails listing the selected players when an event closes.
- Roll call reminder emails to the group organisers.
- Administrative emails to the group owner.
- Contact emails to the group owner if a user contacts the group.
Advert Posters
- Administrative emails to the advert poster.
- Contact emails to the advert poster if a user replies to the advert.
All Users
- Notification of a new site software release.
- Suspension emails if you break the house rules.
3. Cookies
The site design requires the use of
cookies.
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To allow your browser to store your email address for subsequent visits
to the site. You can choose to disable this feature by unticking the box
labelled "Remember my email" on the login page.
- To log in to the site we use a temporary session cookie containing
encrypted information about your login session. Your browser should automatically
remove this cookie when you exit the browser or when you log out.

We use SSL
to encrypt your personal details when you do any of the following:
- Login.
- Register.
- Confirm your password to activate your account.
- Update your personal details.
- Change your password.
- Merge your accounts.
- Reset your password.
- Confirm your password to join a group.
5. The Information We Collect
All Site Visitors
Our Web server produces a log of each page request in the NCSA combined format.
This format includes, amongst other things, your IP address, browser type and
the URL you are accessing. Log files are not kept indefinitely.
Registered Users
When you register for amiplaying.com, we store your email address, your
password in an encrypted form, your name and a personal question and answer
to help confirm your identity. We store your date of birth, gender, phone number,
mobile/cell number and home page URL if you optionally provide these. You can change
these registered details at any time on the 'My Details' page. In addition we store
your IP address and browser type.
6. Sharing, Use And Location Of Information
We will not supply your personal data to a third party for commercial use,
and we will not sell the list of our users' email addresses to a third party.
Once you have registered, your personal information will only be available to
other members of the groups you have created or joined. Similarly any messages
you post to a group message board will only be visible to members of that group.
You can choose to leave the group at any time, or the group owner may remove you.
Your group records will be kept after you have left the group to provide an
accurate event history.
All open groups and their corresponding venue details, description, average
member age and number of members split by gender will be available to users
looking to contact a group in their area. They can apply to join a particular
group, however they can only join by invitation.
amiplaying.com may include interactive advertising for other businesses. We
may use, and provide to third parties, anonymised demographic data provided
by our users to target this advertising more appropriately.
The personal information held by us is held on and processed by computers
situated in the United Kingdom.
7. Account Removal
If you want to remove your account from the service, please contact us
here. We will remove all of your
personal details. However if you have joined a group we will keep your name
and the times when you joined and left for the group's event history. All of
your personal notice board posts will be removed, however any system
generated notice board posts referencing you will be kept for the benefit
of the group.
8. Security
We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access
to this database is restricted internally. However you must:
- Keep your password secret.
- Ensure nobody else uses your active session.
- Log out from the service when you are not using it.
Note the service will automatically log you out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
9. Links To Third Party Sites
Note that amiplaying.com may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible
for the privacy practices, or the content, of those Web sites.
10. Disclosure For Legal Reasons
We reserve the right to communicate such user's personal information as
we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which make a
legally-compliant request for its disclosure.
